Trailmeme Gadget
Gadgets are tiny, useful applications that Windows 7 and Vista users can add to their desktops. The Trailmeme gadget displays a scrolling list of the newest and most recently updated trails.
If a trail catches your interest, you can access it directly from the gadget. This functionality is available to everyone, not just those with Trailmeme accounts. You can also search all trails using the Trailmeme gadget.
Add the Gadget to Your Desktop
For Vista and Windows 7 users
- Download the zip file by clicking on this link: Trailmeme Gadget.
- Extract the file to your desktop.
- Double-click the trailmeme.gadget file.
- Click Install from the dialog box that pops up.
- The Trailmeme gadget should now be visible on your desktop.
If you close the gadget at any point, you can get it back by right-clicking on your desktop and selecting Gadgets from the menu that appears. To restore visibility, you can double click on the trailmeme icon in the Gadget display or simply drag it to your desktop.
